[embedvideo id=”KVYup3Qwh8Q” website=”youtube”]

Come a Little Closer‘ is the debut single from Cage the Elephant’s third studio album ‘Melophobia‘ which is out now! Unlike there older track ‘Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked‘, Cage the Elephant have created a distinctive and individual sound shying  away from their musical influences such as punk, pop and rock – they have now very much created a sound of their own. Matt Shultz’s phenomenal vocals skills shine on this track. If you like this track, make sure you check out the rest of the  album – particularly the latest single off the album, the newly released ‘Take It or Leave It’.

Pop Singles of the Week

Having recently released her third studio album ‘A Perfect Contradiction’ – this week we choose our favourite track off that album, which was no easy feat. Ultimately, we decided our favourite track was ‘Only Love Can Hurt Like This’ because Paloma Faith’s penetrating vocals performance.

Clean Bandit – Extraordinary feat. Sharna Bass

Electro-pop group Clean Bandit have released a new single week, following their incredibly successful hit single ‘Rather Be’. We expect to hear this catchy tune a lot more on Australian radio and to receive the same success on the charts as ‘Rather Be’.

Introducing Singles of the Week

Rhodes – Your Soul

[embedvideo id=”yAJPDnhCORg” website=”youtube”]

Rhodes is an English singer songwriter who has only recently started making music. Beginning his first ever tour around the UK only last week, you would have never guessed that he is a newbie with a voice and soul reminiscent of that of Jeff Buckley, It is a surprise that Rhodes has only been singing for a short period of time. Having recently preformed at a Burberry Fashion Show for London’s Fashion Week and being added to BBC Introducing playlist – chances are that you will hear his name a lot more this year. His new single ‘Your Soul’ is out now and it is from his upcoming EP ‘Morning’ which is available for preorder in the UK – watch this space, Australia!

They have recently done a wicked cover of Empire of The Sun’s ‘We Are The People’ on Spotify Sessions in London – defiantly worth a listen. Their debut album is expected to be released in August.
