Samantha Jade Annouced For This Year’s Carols In The Domain

On the back of the celebration of her win on the Seven Network’s X Factor, Samantha Jade is set to shine at this year’s Woolworths Carols in the Domain, where she will perform with a host of favourites in front of an audience of more than 50,000.

Samantha is enjoying a whirlwind week after taking out the title on X Factor, where she won a signed contract with Sony Music Australia and has also seen overnight success with her new single ‘What You’ve Done to Me’ topping the iTunes charts at number one.

“It has been an amazing few weeks on X Factor and I never expected that I would win. I am so pleased to be able to join my love of singing and Christmas by performing at Woolworths Carols in the Domain,” said Samantha.

With a busy few weeks ahead leading up to the release of her debut album on 7 December, Samantha is looking forward to returning to the stage, before she tours with her X Factor friends and fellow contestants for the Top 12 Live Tour.

“I could never have foreseen how this year would have panned out and what a way to finish it, performing for thousands of people. I am still a big kid and I love Christmas and enjoy this time of year spending time with my family,” continued Samantha.

Samantha wowed audiences on the Grand Final of the show, where she proved what a tenacious young woman and strong contender she has been since day one.

“We are very excited to have X Factor winner Samantha Jade as a headline artist this year,” said Co-Executive Producer for Woolworths Carols in the Domain, Shauna Kane.

“I am personally a huge fan of the show and haven’t missed an episode. The talent on X Factor in 2012 has been phenomenal.

“Samantha is both a deserved winner and the perfect Carols performer, she is beautiful and talented with an amazing voice, which we know will fill the Domain,” added Shauna.

Woolworths Carols in the Domain is proudly presented by Airwick and will be staged on Saturday 22 December at The Domain, Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney. For more information visit or follow or
