Japanese director Takashi Miike (13 Assassins) has released 2 trailers for his upcoming adaptation of Phoenix Wright into feature film.
The movie is based on a videogame released in Japan for the Game Boy Advance in 2001, the original title was remade and released for the Nintendo DS in 2005 and later spawned a pair of direct sequels. The plot involves courtroom battles between the attorney and the prosecutor, where they have to present evidence, cross-examine witnesses and detect any contradictory statements that may hold the key to the case.
The movie stars Hiroki Narimiya as Phoenix Wright, Mirei Kiritani as Maya Fey and Takumi Saito as prosecutor Miles Edgeworth
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is due out in Japan on February 11, 2012.
