‘Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa Uncut’ Blu-ray Review

Thanks to Paramount Home Entertainment, we had a look at the uncut version of the hilarious comedy, ‘Bad Grandpa’, in full Blu-ray quality

bad grandpa stillStarring Johnny Knoxville and young Jackson Nicoll, Bad Grandpa is a spinoff of Jackass, involving the character Irvin Zisman. Zisman has to take his grandson, Billy, across the US to his father’s, as his mother is returning to jail. The trip is filled with hilarious and totally real situations, including people who are unaware of the cameras filming around them. You can check our movie review for the theatrical release here.

The uncut version of ‘Bad Grandpa’ will make you laugh as hard as the cinema version, but in the comfort of your own home. There are some extended prank scenes, and more than an hour of behind-the-scenes footage of every gag featured in the film. These include The Penguin Incident, the Wedding bad grandpa still 2Crashers, and, of course, the Beauty Pageant competition. What’s more, viewers have the chance to see alternative reactions from the real people as Billy and Irwin hit on women. However, our personal favourite is the Skype call with Billy’s dad inside an Internet cafe full of people.

It would not be a full Jackas-related home entertainment release without some deleted scenes, so expect to see more of the chair kick, the street magician and the drunk shopping cart ride as well.

Bad Grandpa – Debuting on March 26, 2014 on Blu-ray™ & DVD. Blu-ray™ includes an uproarious UNCUT version, plus over an hour of deleted and  behind-the-scenes footage. Out Now on digital
