In Memoriam – 007 Star Richard Kiel (1939 – 2014)

Sad news again! Beloved James Bond villain, Richard Kiel has passed away at the age of 74 in a Fresno hospital.

No cause of dead has been confirmed so far.

Mr. Kiel was known for his portrayal of the infamous  “Jaws” in 007’s The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker as well as for working alongside Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore.

Richard Kiel, was recently in Australia as part of Supanova. We remember him as a friendly and funny giant, always keen for a chat and fully committed with his fans, spending as much time as possible with them while signing autographs despite being rushed sometimes.

Personally, we still can`t assume he is not anymore with us in this world, as we had the chance to sit down next to him for a very relaxed interview and his smile and friendliness was absolutely heartwarming.

Rest in Peace Richard Kiel and thanks!
