‘Deadpool’ Blu-Ray Review

Thanks to Fox Home Entertainment we got our hands on the Deadpool Blu-ray, long before its official release date.

deadpool-still-1Poor Ryan Reynolds has had quite the bumpy superhero journey, appearing in films like The Green Lantern and  X-Men Origins: Wolverine, films in which he was not at fault for the terrible scripts.

Now, with Deadpool, Reynolds finally gets suited up in the costume he was born to wear and the results are great. The film is a hilariously crude mix of gore, action, dark comedy and great comic book references. The entire cast and crew make fun of themselves with a slew of outrageous nods to previous super-hero film flaws. You can find out more by looking at our full movie review here.

The Blu-ray release also includes an amazing behind the scenes called “From Comic Books to Screen…to Screen” where you can see the whole team having a blast while filming. Especially fun to see are the clips of Reynolds and TJ Miller joking around. Best of all, there’s a must-see gag reel, as well as deleted and extended scenes, photos and audio commentaries.

You can get your dose of violence, comedy & chimichangas from the comfort of your home as Deadpool is available on Blu-ray now!
