A Golden Globe And Box Office Glory For ‘Zero Dark Thirty’

ZERO DARK THIRTY has been recognised by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association with Jessica Chastain winning the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama, for her role in the film.

In addition to the award accolades and critical acclaim that continue for ZERO DARK THIRTY, it has also enjoyed huge success at the box office, expanding from 60 to 2,937 screens in the US over the weekend – opening at number one with $US24 million. Outranking Gangster Squad and A Haunted House, ZERO DARK THIRTY has cemented its position as the ‘must see’ film.

ZERO DARK THIRTY has also been nominated for five Academy Awards including; Best Motion Picture, Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role – Jessica Chastain, Achievement in Film Editing – Dylan Tichenor and William Goldenberg, Achievement in Sound Editing – Paul N.J. Ottosson and Original Screenplay – Mark Boal.
