Spotlight’s Top 10 ‘Entourage’ Moments

For eight seasons our favorite boys entertained us with their crazy antics and surreal take on Hollywood and the price of fame. Entourage ended its eight season run on September 11, 2011, but their story isn’t done. The long awaited film version of the hit HBO series has just premiered, so let’s take a stroll down memory lane with the best moments of Vinnie Chase and the rest of the Entourage crew.

[dropcap size=dropcap-big]1[/dropcap]“I am Queens Boulevard”

When Vinnie stars in the independent film Queens Boulevard, he delivers a classic and powerful line that makes him a true star: “I am Queens Boulevard.” This performance shoots him into celebrity status when he later goes on to star in Aquaman and Medellin.

After watching Seth Green high on ecstasy and going on about sleeping with Sloan, we are just waiting for someone to cold-clock him. Good job, Johnny.

[dropcap size=dropcap-big]3[/dropcap] Eminem Punches Vince

Vinnie Chase is shallow. That is no secret, but in the season 7 finale “Lose Yourself,” Vinnie hits an all-time low with the help of alcohol and blow. As Vinnie struts around Eminem’s private party being rude and unruly, it is a joy to watch Eminem punch him in the face and begin an all-out brawl.

After acquiring a cache of loaded weapons, Turtle attempts to play out a scene from Goodfellas. As Drama tries to stop him, the gun fires through a glass door and the guys realize they are not ready for firepower.

[dropcap size=dropcap-big]6[/dropcap]Drama Breaks Tom Brady’s Golf Club

In the season 6 episode “Fore,” Vinnie and Drama are playing a charity golf event with Mark Wahlberg and Tom Brady. After quite a few entertaining mis-fires and temper tantrums, Johnny borrows Brady’s club, only to break it after yet another temper tantrum on the green.

[dropcap size=dropcap-big]7[/dropcap]Ari Gold’s Revenge: Paintball!

The one guy in Hollywood you never want to cross is Ari Gold, and he proves this as he regains control of TMA. In an effort to show his power (and take out a bit of revenge), Gold enters the TMA offices armed with a paintball gun, literally firing employees.

[dropcap size=dropcap-big]8[/dropcap]Drama’s TV Show Becomes a Hit

Flop after flop has plagued the film career of Johnny Drama, so when he hits it big with “Five Towns,” it is a great change of pace to see Johnny on top for a change.

[dropcap size=dropcap-big]9[/dropcap]Vince is Sent to Rehab

After the coke and alcohol fueled antics at Eminem’s ‘Recovery’ party, Vinnie is forced to enter rehab. As he emerges, we see a new man that is full of confidence and ready to take on the world.

[dropcap size=dropcap-big]10[/dropcap]Ari and Nicky Rubenstein Make Medellin a Go

The film that is meant to take the world by storm is Medellin. Unfortunately, loose cannon director Walsh and a missing ending make this move a tough sell. After all the time we have invested in the fight for Medellin, the pay off when it finally gets the greenlight is more than satisfying.
