Jim Breuer is an American stand‐up comedian, actor and radio host. He is most noted for his time
as a cast member on Saturday Night Live and starring in the 1998 cult ‘stoner comedy’ Half Baked
(alongside Dave Chappelle) which propelled him into superstardom! Now he is about to embark
on his first Australian tour.
Prior to gaining national notoriety in the US, Jim was a stand‐out talent at the little known Uptown
Comedy Club television show based out of Harlem. Subsequently he first rose to fame as a cast
member of Saturday Night Live for four years, creating many characters including Goat Boy.
With many accolades including Comedy Central’s 100 Greatest Stand‐Ups of All Time, Breuer is
currently one of the top touring comedians in the US. His one‐hour Comedy Central special, Let’s
Clear the Air premiered late last year with hilarious topics including what “success” really is, the
SNL days, and life with his elderly parents, his wife and three daughters. Let’s Clear the Air ranked
in as one of the highest rated specials on Comedy Central raking in over 1 million viewers with an
astounding 100% retention rate.
“With Jim Breuer talent, he is like the white version of me. Fearless. He’s my brother from
another mother with a different color”
Breuer continued touring through 2010 while still writing his book, I’m Not High (But I’ve Got a
Lot of Crazy Stories about Life as a Goat Boy, a Dad, and a Spiritual Warrior), released October
2010 to rave reviews and record breaking sales. In addition to his regular guest appearances on
the Howard Stern Show, his own weekly Sirius show, Friday’s with Jim Breuer has an enormous
and regular listenership, and with only two episodes released, his new podcast, The Podcast
Masters has already climbed the iTunes charts to Top 20, and #8 in on the comedy charts. His
appearances include several stints on NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien as well as roles in
numerous movies including Dick, Once in the Life, Beer League, and The Zookeeper with Kevin
“Breuer is the real deal”
Fans adoringly describe Breuer’s multigenerational family comedy as the modern day Bill Cosby, if
he was wearing a Metallica t‐shirt. Jim starred in the VH1 documentary When Metallica Ruled
the World where he commented on the songs by Metallica through the years.
