Each of the attacks is preceded by the release of online videos featuring a couple of terrorists who call themselves Sphinx, and who seem to enjoy playing riddles; giving hintes about their targets. Surprisingly, despite all the destruction they cause, they haven’t left any casualties, making the situation itself the biggest riddle of all.

Terror in Resonanceis another animated triumph by the creators of Cowboy Bebop. They have delivered a fresh, suspenseful, intellectual thriller in which villains become heroes and heroes become threats, with a fast-phased narrative, superb animation and a psychedelic soundtrack by Yoko Kanno.
