Cardcaptor Sakura: The Sealed Card Movie Review

Clamp’s cutest magical girl ‘Cardcaptor Sakura’ is back with her second movie, ‘The Sealed Card’; and, thanks to Madman, we had the chance to see it on DVD.

After obtaining all of them she finds herself solving her own personal issues and is finally able to return Shaoran’s feelings with the support of her friends, Tomoyo and Meilin.

However, her plans are interrupted when she feels the presence of the most powerful of all cards, the mysterious sealed card that is able to transform everything to nothing.

Sakura will do everything in her power to transform herself into a magical girl even if she has to give up her dearest feeling.

sealed cardClamp Manga Studios (Chobits, Angelic Layer, Magic Knight Rayearth) have always been praised for their gorgeous art. Cardcaptor Sakura is no exception as the beautiful manga artwork is transferred to the screen for the anime series and movies.

The film’s entertaining storyline follows that of the series. The heart-warming innocence of first love works fantastically in the second film and will leave fans feeling very satisfied. The addition of new songs, a top notch score and beautiful animation all set the mood for a perfect finale.
