On Australia Day (Jan 26), Sydney’s State Theatre was *ridiculously* pimped out with a pink carpet to welcome the world’s most famous male supermodel, as Derek Zoolander himself (dressed as his alter ego Ben Stiller) took over the national celebrations to host a very special and intimate fan event that included the very first good-looking, global, public screening of the comedy hit Zoolander 2.
Stiller arrived at around 5:20 pm. He greeted fans and media, taking time to pose in full Zoolander style doing “Blue Steel” selfies and sign autographs. The beloved star took as much time as necessary in order to get up close and personal with fans, once again proving what a humble star he is.
Also walking the pink carpet was surprise guest supermodel Heidi Klum, along with some local celebrities including NRL star Benji Marshall, Big Brother’s Tim Dormer and representatives from the cast of Home and Away stars. Needless to say, there were also Zoolander fans out in full force, dressed in costume. .
