Slipknot`s drummer Joey Jordison has revealed that Slipknot already recorded some demos for their new album.
The new album will be “a healing process” for the band, following the death of bassist and founding member Paul Gray, explaining that “Slipknot is a family, and losing a family member sucks. You can’t help that, but you need to move on – and I think what we’re going to do might be the most powerful thing we’ve ever created.”
Members of Slipknot will play bass on the new record and although the group plans to recruit a new bass player to play with them on tour he’ll never be seen by fans.
Jordison says that the new bassist will be “right behind the stage, locking in with me. But there’s no one who will go on stage.”
Slipknot`s Joey Jordinson and Corey Taylor will be touring Australia in febrery for Soundwave with their alternate bands Stone Sour and Murderdolls…for more info about Soundwave click here
