Soundwave ‘COUNTER REVOLUTION’ – Lineup announced

After the bad news with the cancellation of Soundwave Revolution, promoters of the festival have been working hard to bring us some mini festival venues with some of the bands from the original festival.

‘Counter-Revolution’ is the name of this new venues and festival promoter AJ Maddah has even promised that there’ll be no band clashes at the mini-festivals.

Maddah has made clear that the lineup will be the same in each city, he is just awaiting confirmation of ‘first choice’ venues for Perth and Sydney. In addition to these mini-festivals there will be a series of headline shows for other Soundwave Revolution acts including Watain, Whitechapel, Alter Bridge, Skindred and The Word Alive to be confirmed in the coming days.

Other Revolution bands including Sum 41, The Dangerous Summer, Steel Panther, Danzig and Relient K will also be touring in the near future

Brisbane: The Riverstage – Saturday 24th September, All Ages
Sydney – Sunday 25th September
Melbourne: Sidney Myer Music Bowl – Friday 30th September, All Ages
Adelaide: Showgrounds – Sunday 2nd October, All Ages
Perth – Monday 3rd October
