Red Dog continues to break with convention and taken more money in its second weekend, grossing
$1.867 million from Thursday to Sunday (August 11-14).

Directed by Kriv Stenders, Red Dog stars Josh Lucas, Rachael Taylor and an ensemble cast including Luke Ford, Arthur Angel, John Batchelor, Rohan Nichol, Noah Taylor, Loene Carmen and Keisha Castle-Hughes and Koko as Red Dog.
Red Dog was adapted by Daniel Taplitz from the best-selling novel by award-winning author Louis De
Bernières (Captain Corelli’s Mandolin). The film was shot in South Australia and the remote Pilbara
region of Western Australia.

Red Dog released in cinemas nationally on August 4, 2011 and is rated PG.
