BioWare has finally released their new chapter oo the Mass Effect series. Mass Effect Andromeda has arrived on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Years after the cataclysmic events of Mass Effect 3, the quest to discover new planets continues. A mission to move the remainder of humanity and other sentient races to the Andromeda galaxy has finally reached their destination and are exploring this dangerous new frontier.
As always, players can choose to play with a male or female protagonist (Scott or Sara Ryder), whose journey will be determined by the many decisions chosen along the way. This game is more focused on interaction and discovery than action, making it more of an RPG title than a shooter.
The real joy of the game lies in exploring the huge open areas of the new worlds in the Andromeda galaxy, allowing players to visit planets where hostiles live or just to find resources.
Despite the rather weak character animation and gameplay bugs, Andromeda is an addictive new addition to the gaming sci-fi saga, that might keep players busy for at least 70 hours.
