One of the biggest parties of the year, the Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project was held in Melbourne last Saturday November 12 at Peninsula, on the Harbour Esplanade at Docklands. The Australian edition kicked off the worldwide celebration as the first of the Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project events to be held globally
In this amazing venue, Australia swapped nightlife experiences with Italy, with the music courtesy of Italian superstar DJs Junior Jack & Kid Créme and Alex Gaudino, making the entire crowd dance the entire night. Also some of Australia’s best home-grown talent, Anna Lunoe, Stevie Mink, Rachel Andrews, Eli VS Safari DJs, F.R.I.E.N.D’s DJs, Smart Alec, Peach Lovely, and Airwolf all performed live.
But that was not all, because the entire place was perfectly organized in order to give Aussies a full Italian experience, with the place reconstructed especially for the venue with different zones, representing an elements of Italian nightlife such as the historical Rome, the Alps, Milan, and Venice.
One of the highlights of the night, was at midnight when superstar DJ Alex Gaudino spun his version of the Nessun Dorma with lasers included. In that moment, every guest started wearing silver masks, surrounded by aerial performers and dancers wearing Venetian masquerade costumes, and watching fireworks fall from the stage!
