General Pants BOWL-A-RAMA has confirmed its status as Australia’s biggest and best skateboarding competition – today announcing the first release line-up of riders set to compete at this year’s event. The best skaters from all around the world will converge on Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach, February 18 & 19, to compete for more than $80,000 in prize money.

Previously announced skate legend, Tony ‘The Birdman’ Hawk (USA), will return to defend his back-to-back Masters Title wins; joined in the bowl by superstars Renton Millar (AUS) and Kevin Staab (USA), among others.
In the pro’s competition, local favourite Noah Fuzi will be up against global heavyweights Alex Sorgente (USA), Bucky Lasek (USA), Danny Leon (ESP), and Pedro Barros (BRA) to name a few.
General Pants BOWL-A-RAMA has recognised the growing popularity of women’s and juniors divisions by changing the format from jams to competitions, expanding the number of competitors and increasing prize money.
In the women’s division, a number of local ladies will ignite the bowl, with all eyes once again on Newcastle teen Poppy Olsen (AUS) who has been making waves since the age of eight. In the juniors’ competition Aussie riders Jed MacKenzie and Ethan Copeland are set to shine, going up against local rider Keegan Palmer, plus international riders Tyler Edtmayer (GER) and Travis Rivera (USA).
In addition to these expanded competitions, crowd favourites Best Trick and Biggest Air have also now been split over the two days to ensure maximum entertainment over the course of the weekend.
